Why we offer Utility Connect

The keys are handed over, but your buyer's to-do list is just getting started. Electricity, water, gas, internet, trash service: every account has to be set up, usually during the busiest weeks of the move.

Utility Connect takes that off their plate. Buyers get white-glove help setting up utilities and home services, which can save them four to six hours during an already hectic time.

For you, it's an easy way to stand out:

  • A better client experience: one more way to take care of your clients after the contract is signed.

  • Virtually no added work: Utility Connect handles nearly all the implementation, training, marketing materials and ongoing support.

  • No cost to you: and it can create a new revenue opportunity for agents and brokerages.

How it works in Rayse

Utility Connect is a simple switch on each journey. Turn it on and Rayse sends a referral to Utility Connect. Once the referral is sent, the journey shows a locked Sent to Utility Connect card. Your client sees a short information card, and Utility Connect takes it from there.

You can set it on each journey from the Journey Details page, or set your account default so it's ready for every new journey.

Good to know

  • It's optional. Utility Connect is a referral connection, not a marketplace. Your client is always free to choose their own service providers.

  • No promises on savings. Don't present it as a guarantee of savings or service availability.

  • Be transparent. Explain any financial relationship or benefit as required by law, your broker's policy and the service agreement. Participation should never be a condition of receiving your real estate services.

Your Utility Connect training path

Step 1: Turn it on

Step 2: Know the journey

Tip: Mention Utility Connect before closing so your buyer knows help is on the way. It's a small touch they'll remember long after move-in day.
