Home Tours: How to Manually Update Showings

Learn how to manually track and update showing progress in the Tours & Offers section of a client's Journey.

Written by Yvonne Thomas

There are two ways to manually update showings in the Tours & Offers section of a client's Journey β€” through the Table view or the Cards view.

Method 1: Table View

Step 1: Navigate to Tours & Offers

Open a client's Journey and click the Tours & Offers tab. Make sure you are in Table view by clicking the Table button in the top right of the section.

Step 2: Click on a Property Row

Click anywhere on a property row (on the address, status, or any part of the row) to open the Property Details panel for that property.

Step 3: Expand the Home Evaluation Section

Click the chevron (down arrow) on the right side of the Home Evaluation row to expand it. You will see a checklist of 9 showing-related tasks:

  • Home tour scheduled

  • Home tour attended

  • Gather data on potential home

  • Client feedback gathered *

  • Contact listing agent with questions on home

  • Offer strategy discussed

  • Additional insights on home discussed

  • Offer drafted

  • Offer reviewed & signed

Step 4: Check Off Completed Steps

Click the checkbox next to each task that has been completed. The progress counter (e.g., 1/9, 2/9) updates in real time. Your changes are saved automatically β€” no need to click a save button.
*Client feedback gathered : This allows the property to be moved to Rejected or stay in the still being considered selection.

Step 5: Close the Pane

Click the X button in the top left of the panel to close it and return to the table.

Your progress is saved automatically.

Method 2: Cards View

The Cards view provides a visual Kanban-style board with three columns: Considered, Offered, and Rejected. You can update a property's status simply by dragging its card to the appropriate column.

Step 1: Switch to Cards View

Click the Cards button in the top right of the Tours & Offers section.

Step 2: Drag a Property Card

Click and hold a property card, then drag it to the target column:

  • Offered β€” when your client has submitted an offer on a property

  • Rejected β€” when the property has been removed from consideration

Step 3: When Rejected, you will be prompted to add the reason why.

And finally confirm the move.

Step 4: When you need to delete a property or need to look at more details:

  • Just click on the menu option when you select the property

  • Property Info will provide the property information on a pop-up screen:

  • If you choose to delete the property, you will be required to confirm. This will remove the property and any additional data provided when the property was added (so if through automations, the activities will also be removed.
