My Work: See Everything You Do, for Your Clients and Your Business

Every showing, drive, meeting and admin hour in one place, split into work for your clients and work for your business.

Why we built My Work

Ask most agents how many hours they put into a single client and you'll get a shrug. Ask the client, and you'll often get a number that's far too low. Agents invest an average of 55–85 hours in a client's journey, yet nearly half of buyers believe their agent spent less than 15 hours on the entire transaction.

Much of the work is invisible, even to you. The drive across town, the 20-minute call with a lender, the paperwork after dinner. And then there's everything that keeps your business running: education, admin, marketing, prospecting.

My Work brings it all together. It's a running record of what you've actually been doing, split into two sides:

  • My clients: your activities, hours and the number of clients you've worked with.

  • My business: your activities, hours and work types, such as Education, Admin, Marketing and Tours.

For the first time you can see where your time really goes, and show your clients the effort behind the service you provide.

Where your work comes from

You don't have to type it all in. Your work fills in as you go:

  • Your calendar: events you log from your connected calendar.

  • Rae: tell Rae what you did by voice or text.

  • The mobile app: stops, drive time and miles captured as you move through your day.

  • My Plan: events and to-dos you confirm during your daily planning.

  • By hand: select Add activity for anything else.

How to use My Work

Step 1: Open My Work

Select My work in the main navigation. The two summary cards at the top show your totals for My clients and My business. Select either card to switch sides.

Step 2: Filter your view

  • Range: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days or All time.

  • Clients: All activities, For my clients, For my business, Personal, or a specific client or journey.

  • Work types: on the My business side, filter by type, such as Marketing or Other.

Step 3: Review and tidy up each activity

Each activity shows its type (such as Meeting, Drive time or Stop), the address or title, the date, the time spent and any miles. From each activity you can:

  • Select the time to adjust how long it took.

  • Select Add journey to attach it to a client's journey.

  • Select Add contacts to connect the people involved.

  • Use the icons in the corner to view, edit or delete it.

Tip: Attaching work to the right journey is what makes it count for that client. A drive to a showing with no journey attached stays business work.

Step 4: Add an activity

Select Add activity and fill in what you did: a Title, a one-line Summary, any Key points, the Address, Date, Minutes, Miles and Expense, and the activity Type. Attach any journeys or contacts, then select Log activity. Rayse sets the category (client or business) automatically from the people and journeys you attach.

Step 5: Answer Rae's questions

When Rae spots a gap in your own work, it parks a question on the Questions tab. For example, "Which journey was your visit to this address part of?" or "About how long did that meeting take?" You can:

  • Attach the activity to a journey, or choose None, just my work.

  • Select Talk it through to answer with Rae.

  • Dismiss anything you don't need.

Questions don't expire, so you can catch up whenever you have a minute.

What your client sees

Clients only see work that's connected to their own journey. Your business work and your other clients' work are never shared.

Good to know

  • Keep it accurate. Record your work truthfully and consistently. Time and activity records are for information only and shouldn't be described as independently audited or guaranteed.

  • Make it a habit. A few minutes a day keeps My Work accurate, and it's much easier than trying to remember last week.

Your My Work training path

Step 1: Understand My Work

Step 2: Let your work fill in on its own

Step 3: Make it part of your day

Step 4: Show the value you delivered

Tip: Check the My business side at the end of the month. Seeing how many hours went into education, admin and marketing can help you decide where your time is best spent.
